SHOW ME THE MONEY!

This week, we will be applying our addition and subtraction facts to concepts related to money. The students will be counting and comparing money and making change. The internet offers an endless supply of games and activities related to money. Please click on the following sites to practice money. The Library of Virtual Manipulatives, Fun Brain, aplusmath, Quia, Spending Spree, and Little Farmer.

Tech Lab

We will start tech lab on Monday. Mrs. Holly Boykin will be teaching this class. We will go once a day for two weeks. Mrs. Boykin will have stations set up to teach simple machines, how to use our classroom digital camera, and creating a power point. Mrs. Boykin has put a lot of hard work into these stations and I can't wait. I know this will be a rewarding experience for the students.
