KITES

During the weeks of CRCT testing we will be doing a fun unit in math on kites. Each student will have the opportunity to design a kite and fly it. During the unit we will identify points, lines, line segments, parallel lines, intersecting lines, and perpendicular lines in our kite designs. We will also review some shapes learned as we use them in our designs. We will do a kite webquest to learn some facts about kites and the parts of a kite.
